OUR APPROACH

Nurturing Growth Through Play

At Pottsville Community Preschool, our learning programs are intentionally structured to follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), ensuring a balance of spontaneity and guided discovery.

Across the year, children engage in a rich tapestry of play-based experiences that build literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional resilience. We believe that when a child leads their own learning through play, they develop a lifelong love for exploration and community connection.

Understanding the National Quality Framework

Pottsville Community Preschool is guided by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority National Quality Framework (NQF), which provides a national approach to regulating, assessing, and improving the
quality of early childhood education and care.

Our service regularly undertakes self-assessment, quality improvement planning, and formal Assessment and Rating processes against the National Quality Standards.

We are committed to strong Child Safe Standards, ensuring every child is protected, respected, listened to, and supported in a safe and inclusive environment.

We are proud to be rated Exceeding in all quality areas.

This means peace of mind for you, knowing that every part of our day is designed with your child’s well-being and future growth at its heart.
